First of all, these photos are of competitive cheerleading. And second, do you know how much work they put into it? Besides, cheerleaders in football are not only there to cheer for the team, they're there to help the rest of the audience cheer at the same time for the team. No, it doesn't automatically make the team better, but it does help the team feel less crappy when they're losing or winning. They do a lot of damage to themselves when they're out there, and I'd want some freaking appreciation if I was out busting my butt like that. Geez.
